Khmelnytsky NPP Construction Department

The Khmelnytsky NPP Construction Department was established on February 8, 1978 by order of the Ministry of Energy of the USSR for the purpose of complex construction of the nuclear power plant and the town of energy workers Netishyn.

Implemented projects:

  • The labor team built not only the 1st and 2nd power units, but also the beautiful city of Netishyn, more than 600,000 square meters of housing, 5 schools, 10 kindergartens, sports and recreation and hospital complex, Palace of Culture, cinema, residential buildings for military personnel.
  • Since 2007, JSC “UB Khaes” successfully cooperated with “Karpatnaftokhim” LLC on the construction of a membrane electrolysis plant with a capacity of 200,000 tons of caustic soda per year in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
  • From August 6, 2008, JSC “UB KHAES” started the implementation of the project for the construction of zones 1-2 on the territory of JSC “Podilsky Cement” – Furnace No. 7 Dry line. On October 14, 2011, the commission with the participation of the customer, the designer, the general contractor and subcontractors signed the certificate of readiness of the facility “Dry cement production line of PJSC “Podilskyi Cement” for operation.

In order to bring the activities of PJSC “UB Khaes” into compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Joint-Stock Companies”, in 2011 the Company decided to name the Public Joint-Stock Company “Khmelnytsky NPP Construction Management”.

Changes to the name of the Society and the registration of a new edition of its Charter were made by the state registrar of the Executive Committee of the Netishyn City Council of Khmelnytskyi Region on May 20, 2011.

To date, PJSC “UB KhAES” is engaged in construction and installation works on the conservation and stabilization of building structures based on the results of the inspection of power unit No. 3 of the KhaA NPP, the construction of RPVR 6/04, kV ZRDES and the construction of a cable overpass to the building of RPVP, and also conducts further searches for volumes works in Khmelnytskyi region and beyond.

Today, the enterprise has its own production base: an accredited construction laboratory, a concrete mixing plant, a carpentry shop, a rebar workshop, a precast concrete landfill, a crane farm, a mechanized motor vehicle and railway fleet.
